Visiting the V&A
Popped over the the V&A on Sunday for a bit of weekend culture. I haven't been for a while and had forgotten how much amazing stuff it's packed with. It's my third or fourth visit and yet I swear I still stumbled into at least two rooms I've never seen before. I particularly liked the glass exhibition, and of course the amazing cafe, located in the original Morris, Gamble and Poynter Rooms. It seemed rude not indulge in a bite to eat in such palatial surroundings; Ben went for a classic lemon drizzle cake, which was buttery with a sharp lemony tang, and I went for an orange and almond slice that was moist and delicious with a pot of Earl Grey. All in all a very pleasent Sunday afternoon!
